Sacred Time
A 4-Week Virtual Introduction to the ancient Mayan Cholq’ij Calendar
Tuesdays May 13th, 20th, 27th & June 3rd (time is TBD)

What is the Mayan Calendar?
The Mayan Calendar is a sacred system of timekeeping used by the ancient Maya civilization, designed to track not just the passage of time, but the cycles of nature, spirit, and human evolution. It weaves astronomy, agriculture, ritual, and deep spiritual wisdom into an intricate map of cosmic order.
What if time wasn’t linear, but alive, intelligent, and filled with guidance?
For thousands of years, the Tz’utujil Maya have followed the Cholq’ij, a 260-day sacred calendar that honors the soul of each day, the cycles of the Earth, and the spirit within all things.
This calendar contains much of the wisdom of the Maya, and is the foundation for their traditions with cacao, fire ceremonies, and life.
In this 4-week online immersion, you’ll be guided by Nana Mimi, a third-generation Medicine Woman and Mayan Daykeeper to open the gateway to this ancestral wisdom and help you root it into your life.

As time went by, her mother passed on to her the medicine that she had received from her grandmother to Nana Mimi and her siblings, Ana Maria & Sebastian. Their entire family continues to carry this lineage since their mother has passed.
Nana Mimi is also a Mayan Timekeeper (Ajq'ij) who works with the energies of each day of her Mayan calendar through the sacred fire.
